Upcomming Symposium
15th Flintknapping Symposium
May 8th - 12th, 2024
Urmu Museum, Blaubeuren (Germany)
The preparations for the Symposium in 2024 are currently underway, and we are thrilled to share that we have received an invitation from the Urmu Blaubeuren, in collaboration with the Eiszeitstudio Schelklingen and the University of Tübingen. This time, we will be situated in the splendid Swabian Alb, a region in the southern part of Germany renowned for its stunning natural beauty and remarkable archaeology. The area is known for its numerous caves, which have yielded some of the oldest known human figurines.
During the Symposium, participants will have the opportunity to visit several significant archaeological sites and marvel at the astonishing artefacts. We are diligently working on organizing accommodations, planning excursions, and preparing informative talks to make this Symposium an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to fine-tune the details for this exciting event.
