In 2017, as the Flintknapping Meeting reached its 10th anniversary, we had the opportunity to celebrate this milestone. We were invited by Harm Paulsen to his flintknapping site located on the Baltic Sea coast. Harm has been using this site for over 30 years and it is likely the closest experience one can have to visiting the site of a Neolithic flintknapper. We were fortunate to have wonderful weather and excellent quality flint for our activities.

The meeting was relaxed and enjoyable, with a beachside gathering featuring a bonfire, music, and a private tour of the impressive megalithic tombs that Harm had reconstructed. It was a truly memorable occasion, marked by a sense of celebration and appreciation for the craftsmanship of the past.
